so, it’s been awhile obviously. a lil over a year to be not so precise. a lot has happened and not so much at the same time. so i’ll just hit the highlights. 2019 started out fairly well. i was working 1.5 jobs and making good money. love life was decent. didn’t have anything really to complain about. about mid-way thru summer, both of those things changed for the worse. right after i finally purchased a new vehicle for the first time in 11 years. so the end of summer till now has been a bit of a struggle but i’m working on it. the other HUGE thing that happened, well one HUGE and one notable. the HUGE thing is i’m a grandpa now! my daughter had a lil boy the night of memorial day. crazy right? what’s notable is that on my way up to witness his birth, i hit a deer. in my new vehicle. first time in my life ever hitting ANYTHING. not fun.
but, my grandson got here healthy with no issues, and insurance took care of the vehicle so all was well. a recent development is that i have become a bullet journal fan. i used to be a franklin covey devotee was back in the day and was starting to miss the tactile-ness of writing in a journal, then i discovered bullet journals. if you don’t know what they are, google it. seriously. they are pretty cool. i feel like it is really helping me to focus and get stuff done. it’s a whole “culture” with tons of supplies and variations to get into it. i’ve always been a bit of a stationary fanboy so all the pens, pencils, and markers bujo (short for bullet journal) folks are into is right up my interest alley. as a matter of fact i just got a 50 pack of markers yesterday that i’m already in love with
.
also i’ve been pretty immersed in various crafting projects such as making harry potter inspired magic wands, making dice trays and pachinko style dice towers, painting miniatures, wood carving, etc. i’m also still playing d&d. aactually playing in 2 groups now. sunday and mondays. i’ve been with my sunday group the longest. they are a group of cool people i kind of click with. the monday group is run by a coworker. he’s a great story teller, decent dungeon master. 
also looking to start making some youtube videos about the crafting and such that i do. channel name is wut craft & stuff.
so that’s about it for catching you up. now that i’m journaling, i feel like it’s easier to be more communicative so maybe it wont be a year before i post here again.. maybe?
