2022 is almost over. and i find myself here again. again motivated to share my thoughts and life on this blog. so much has happened since the last post. i’ll summarize:
i got married. due to that i moved. to florida. i know right? so far i love it down here. i absolutely don’t miss snow or cold, but i do kinda miss some of the activities associated with fall and winter. cider mills, apple picking, hay rides, tree lighting ceremonies, hot cocoa and spiced hot cider. apple donuts. etc. that kind of stuff. i also miss my social circles from back home. but thats for another post.
i am currently working in the medical field. it’s an interesting and somewhat rewarding job. i’ll most like stay there at lleast until im vested in my 401k lol i purchased a new vehicle. first NEW car in nearly 30 years. feels good and i love it. More on that later.
i don’t know if you’ve paid attention or been following the debacle that is now twitter, but i am one of the thousands that immediately jumped ship when musk took over. not that i was a heavy twitter user. i had a slightly better record of usage there than here but thats not saying much. anyway, i “moved” myself to a few (3) mastodon servers. if you dont know what mastodon is, google it. then join a server. they are all currently free. right now. with the mastodon community growing exponentially who knows how long they will remain free. takes money to grow. if you wanna connect with me, hit me at my main mastodon address @wutwutman@twit.social.
so for better (or worse) i have returned to this blog. no promises, we’ll see what happens. right now the only place online that i’m active social is mastodon and instagram.
